Senior Vice President of Sustainability

Gränges is a global leader in aluminium rolling and recycling in selected niches. We are now looking for an experienced and visionary Senior Vice President of Sustainability to lead our sustainability agenda in the second phase of our Navigate plan - “Building a Leader”. This is a unique opportunity to drive real impact across our operations, strategy and culture.
PLATS: Stockholm
The position is a full-time role and you will report to Jörgen Rosengren, President & CEO Gränges group. You will be Head of an engaged Sustainability team and a team within Communication & IR. You will also be a member of the Group Management Team.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of Gränges’ sustainability strategy together with the Group Management Team and the Global Sustainability Core Team
- Drive cross-functional initiatives
- Monitor and report on progress against sustainability targets, impacts, effects, circularity and supply chain responsibility
- Represent Gränges in sustainability-related forums and partnerships
- Be an active member of the Group Management Team and advise, report and support on trends, risks and opportunities within the Sustainability area.
- Foster a culture of sustainability across the organization
We are looking for a person who has:
- Proven experience in a senior sustainability role
- Strong knowledge of sustainability frameworks
- Ability to combine strategic thought leadership with driving concrete action programs across the organization
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- An academic degree in sustainability, business, engineering or a related field
- Fluency in English
